Christmas town (day III)

*Yawn* Morning guys. My head is killing me. It has been a while since I drank this much. Coffee first then,,,, later...

"I see someone didn't wake up on the right side of the bed." Needless to tell you who said that. "I guessed much, here is your coffee and breakfast princess."

'My prince.' I replied. He is carrying a weird smelling large cup of something that looks suspiciously like coffee and a Bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich which looks so deliciously tempting. I'm going to eat, hopefully this headache will go away soon because I'm looking forward to my last day here.

**Note to self, please, no drinking this much when you can't sleep in or when you have something important like riding horses in the early morning.

30 minutes later...

I'm feeling much better now, thanks for your concern. What I'm worried about now is riding. It's my first time ever riding.

"You seem worried." Noah said.

'Well, it's my first time. I'm nervous as much as I'm excited.' I replied.

"If you are that afraid but wanting, you can ride with me." he replied with a flirtatious smile.

'Thank you Mr. That's very kind of you. I'm a big girl who can... Woho..' Mr. horse interrupted my sentence which made Noah laugh.

Couple of minutes of me getting to know Mr. horse and Noah laughing at me, the ranch owners appeared along with 2 others. Seems like this is the group who will go riding today.

After so many trails and errors and tons and tons of laughs, we are moving now. This place is so nice, brown and white. I can imagine all this in green. Going through the vast areas then walking by the lake and into some springs here and there. We started with walking slowly first, just so that I can get used to it then they picked up the pace a little. Saying that this experience is freeing is an understatement.

(These photos are real ones from the ranch.)

That took most of the morning. I wander if I can go somewhere today. Noah told me that he'd like to take me somewhere special at night. I'll hang around the ranch for now.

"I'm going into town, coming?" Noah says as he walks.

'Well, ya sure, it isn't like I have any plans in this freezing weather. Why are you going into town anyway?' I replied as I pick up his pace.

"The owner asked me to pick up somethings from the store. I thought I'd show you Saint Meinrad Archabbey since I didn't get to show it to you yet."

'I'd love to. I think I might pick up some last minute gifts before packing my stuff.'

"I really hate to see you leaving. I feel like you are one of us now." I have to admit, him saying that made me feel sad.

'We'll be in touch, won't we?'

"Sure thing!"

Upon driving by here, I though this place doesn't have the city noise or crowd.

That's a very nice church! I have to admit, everything stands out more in the snow. The Roman character makes the church stand out even more. Noah is telling me that it's a monastery not just a church which means it is a building/complex of buildings not only for worship, but for nuns, saints and activities too.

I like the simplicity of the interior. Actually I like the simplicity of the whole trip. It's so nice, peaceful and relaxing. Really, the perfect hideout for the end of this year. It has been a tough one and travelling was the only form of escapism. Also this is my first year of travelling. I truly am grateful for every single trip and every single one of you who came long with me. Hope we can continue that in the future too. After walking inside for a while we got back in his truck and went into town. Not much to be said. We walked around and he bought so many stuff. In a matter of fact so many things for just fetching something from town. I'm not complaining. I got to buy some stuff too and eat outside.

"Well, It's getting very late. I think we got everything." Noah said as we enter his truck.

'Man, even if we didn't. I'm freezing to death.' I replied shivering.

"Hahaha I think we got everything and I'll get you covered. We can't have you dying on me before the great finale." He drives the truck till he stops by a coffee shop. Is that the so called the great finale?

"Hot chocolate for our adorable shivering princess." He says as he offers me a cup.

We are on the road again and he is refusing to tell me where we are going.

"Look out of the window" He finally said.

OH MY MY!!! that boy knows how to impress! Check this out!

I mean, is this really for real? This is amazing and beyond describable! I can't believe that these are just houses. I know it's intentional but, how intentional can it be?!

We enjoyed the scene as we were pointing out the shapes to each other and chatting.

I would never has guessed that he was literally keeping the best for last and I would have never guessed that this is what he was keeping.

I can to this town with no plane nor any expectations. Seems like you find the happiness in the least expected place.

Nothing much left from the night to tell you. simply drove back to the ranch and said our good bye as I'm taking a car to the airport.

I'm going to take the same planes I took coming here. I've already booked a hotel in Istanbul. Shocking I know. But I have no energy left this year.

So friends, see you the next one. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
